WHEN DO GATES OPEN?

Gates open 2pm. Event finishes at 11pm.

WHERE is a day in the gully held?

WHAT identification DO I NEED TO BRING?

A Day in the Gully will only accept the following forms of Identification to secure your over 18+ wristband:

  • Current Passport

  • Current valid Australian driver’s license

  • Government Issued Proof of Age Card

For over 18s, STUDENT ID CARDS DO NOT QUALIFY NOR DO BILLS OR LETTERS.

If you cannot produce ID you will be treated as a minor and excluded from all bar service.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

  • Your ticket for scanning at the gate. Please print your PDF ticket, or screenshot your ticket on your phone before you leave home.

  • Valid photo ID

  • Hat

  • Sunscreen

  • Medication (especially for asthma, allergies or hayfever as we’re outside!)

  • Clothes to suit the weather

  • Sensible shoes

  • Empty, reusable bottle for filling with water at our hydrations stations.

WHAT CAN’T I BRING?

  • If you bring a chair to sit on, it must be of the low-standing, beach-style variety.

  • No glass, this includes bottles and baby food containers.

  • Drones, remote control aircraft / cars

  • Professional cameras & audio recording devices

  • Alcohol and illicit substances

  • Weapons and knives

  • Sunshades, tents, tables and umbrellas.

CAN I BRING FOOD/beverage into the festival?

No Outside Food or Drinks: Please note that no outside food or beverages are permitted at the festival.

Drink Bottles: You can bring empty drink bottles to refill at water stations on site.

Support our Food Vendors: There’ll be plenty of food truck options to suit everyone — including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and more.

For Parents: Baby food and formula are allowed. No pre-packed snacks are allowed.

Are children allowed?

Yes, A Day in the Gully is an All Ages event!

  • Children 6-15years will require a General Admission 6-15yrs ticket.

  • Children under 5 are free but you must book a General Admission | 5 AND UNDER ticket with a paying adult ticket.

Please be aware however that all kids and children under 18 years must be with a responsible adult at all times. A Day in the Gully security staff will not allow children to enter or exit the event grounds unless they are in the care of a responsible adult.

WILL THERE BE SEATING AT THE FESTIVAL?

Seating will be limited - we recommend purchasing a premium area ticket to secure unreserved seating.

CAN i bring a chair or blanket?

Whilst you may bring chairs into A Day in the Gully, it is important that you consider others. Please limit them to low beach chairs on the sides of the grassed site areas or, better still use only blankets, so as to allow a clear view for all patrons and minimise disruption.

CAN I BRING MY PET?

Unless your pet is a service dog, the answer is NO. No pets of any kind are permitted on The Day in the Gully site - sorry!

Are companion cards accepted for ADITG?

Please bring your companion card to the event and show them to the gate staff.

TICKETING

DOES MY NAME NEED TO BE ON MY TICKET?

Names are not printed on tickets, so as long as the ticket is valid and has not been scanned, the holder can use it for entry.

Can I forward my ticket to someone else?

We strongly recommend not forwarding or sharing your ticket publicly to avoid scams or duplication. If you’re giving your ticket to a friend, make sure you send it directly to them (not through social media).

CAN I GET A REFUND?

There are no refunds, credits or exchanges on any ticket except as required by the Live Performance Australia Industry Code of Practice (for example if an event is postponed or cancelled etc).

DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE A TICKET FOR MY CHILD?

As per our Youth Policy, children aged 5 and under can attend the event free but you must book a General Admission | 5 AND UNDER ticket with a paying adult ticket. Those aged 6 years old and older are required to purchase a ticket.

do you need to show id to say you live in the area?

No — ID is not required to prove you live in the area.

How can I see if my ticket purchase was successful?

If you are unsure whether your order was successfully processed, please contact Moshtix on via their Tix support form.

I made a spelling mistake in my email address, and need my tickets resent to my correct email.

Please submit a request to the MOSHTIX team with details of the incorrect spelling and the correct spelling, as well as your Order Number. You can do this here.

If you have not received your tickets or are having trouble opening the file through your email, you can access and print your ticket direct from the Moshtix website. Learn how to do that here.

can i enter separately to my friends if they have purchased my ticket?

Yes — as long as you have your own valid ticket (either printed or digital), you can enter the festival separately from your friends. Each ticket has its own unique barcode that will be scanned upon entry.
