Chet Faker
Since first going viral in 2011, Chet Faker has forged a remarkable path as one of Australia’s most distinctive and influential artists. His debut EP Thinking in Textures earned Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Best Independent Single/EP at the AIR Awards, while his 2014 album Built on Glass debuted at #1 on the ARIA Charts, featuring the hit singles “Talk Is Cheap” and “Gold,” and winning five ARIA Awards. Known for his soulful vocals and genre-blurring production, he has collaborated with artists including Flume and Marcus Marr, and released acclaimed work under his own name, Nick Murphy. His 2021 album Hotel Surrender delivered standout tracks “Low” and “Feel Good,” and his latest single “Far Side of the Moon” marks the next chapter in an ever-evolving career.
